The Tree Plantation Camp is organized by Navin Doman Theological College (NDTC) as part of its commitment to environmental conservation, community development, and social responsibility. Similar to the Community Cleanliness and Awareness Program, this initiative is conducted on special occasions, national observances, and environmental awareness days in nearby villages, schools, churches, and public places.
During the campaign, NDTC students, faculty members, and staff actively participate in planting a variety of shade, fruit-bearing, and environmentally beneficial trees. Local residents, youth, and community leaders are also encouraged to take part in the initiative, fostering a shared commitment to creating a greener and healthier environment.
In addition to tree planting, awareness programs are conducted to educate people about environmental protection, climate change, forest conservation, water conservation, biodiversity, and the importance of maintaining a clean and green environment. Through motivational speeches, songs, rallies, and community awareness activities, participants encourage individuals and families to plant trees and care for them as a long-term responsibility.
The Tree Plantation Camp is not only about planting trees but also about
promoting environmental stewardship and sustainable living.
It reflects NDTC's commitment to caring for God's creation and inspiring
communities to protect natural resources for future generations.
"Plant a tree today and nurture a greener tomorrow. Every tree planted is a gift to
future generations and a step toward protecting God's creation."
