📖 The Institution and Its Philosophy

🏫 Navin Doman Theological College (NDTC) has an inspiring historical and spiritual heritage. The College is named in honor of Navin Doman Pore Tirkey, who courageously received Holy Baptism on 9 June 1850. His decision was not merely a personal declaration of faith but also a historic milestone in the spread of Christianity throughout the Chotanagpur region.

In remembrance of this historic event, 9 June is celebrated every year as the Gossner Church Foundation Day. This special day reflects the rich legacy of faith, dedication, and Gospel ministry that has significantly contributed to the spiritual, educational, and social development of the region.

Inspired by this remarkable legacy, Navin Doman Theological College (NDTC) remains committed to preparing dedicated servants of Christ who faithfully proclaim the Gospel and serve the Church with humility, compassion, and integrity. The College believes that true theological education extends beyond academic excellence by shaping Christian character, servant leadership, spiritual maturity, and a lifelong commitment to God's mission.
